ABOUT ME - JORDAN
Putting My Experience
to Work
I've spent the majority of my life doing equity work. In high school, I was formally trained in social justice and began volunteering for the Multnomah Youth Commission, the official youth policy body for my city and county. It was there that my passion for justice grew. I worked for three years as a voting member and one year as co-chair of the commission. During my work, I met with elected officials, made policy recommendations, and facilitated crucial discussions on equity.
I worked one summer as an intern for the Multnomah County Office of Diversity and Equity. I used my experience to do vital work for the county. The past year I have worked as a Legislative Intern in the Oregon House of Representatives. I know what good leadership and listening to your constituents looks like. I am eager to bring my skills to Undergraduate Senate.

ABOUT ME - CAYLA
Putting My Experience
to Work
Hello, I’m Cayla and as a STEM major, I believe that it is very important to find an intersection between social sciences and STEM. Throughout my high school career, I’ve worked for Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina as a page, the North Carolina Secretary of state Elaine Marshall, North Carolina Chief Justice Cheri Beasley, and volunteered for the NC Council for Women and Youth involvement receiving the opportunity to help organize a summer program for young girls in STEM. I've also started initiavies to form STEM clubs at my high school, geared towards exposing underrepresented minorites to STEM careers.
